In the mid June every year, peoples of tenganan village, karangasem, bali always hold the tradition of pandan war or mekare kare. Ngerebong Ceremony in Petilan Pengerebongan Temple

Ngerebong ceremony is held in Petilan Pengerebongan Temple once every 210 days or 10 days after Kuningan Festival. The temple is located at Kesiman Petilan Village, East Denpasar. This temple is one of Dang Kahyangan and is well-known for its Ngerebong ceremony. Petilan Pengerebongan Temple consists of two parts: Jeroan temple and Jaba temple. It is in wantilan hall of Jaba temple, Ngerebong ceremony takes place.
